Un altro anno è passato – il mio tredicesimo nel Motorsport con, ad oggi, 276 gran premi di F1-F2-F3 e parecchi di MotoGP, Moto2 e Moto3, Formula E, DTM, WEC e Rally.
In Moto3 gestendo anche l’Hospitality della Leopard (Campioni del Mondo in Moto3 nel 2023) insieme a Carmine Carbone…direi L’INSOSTITUIBILE Carmine Carbone, da sempre al mio fianco nel Mondo del Motorsport.
La mia ditta, come già sapete, com
pie 30 anni alla fine di questo e negli ultimi tredici ci siamo impegnati a organizzare le forniture alimentari per gran parte dei Team partecipanti in questi sport. Abbiamo attraversato momenti difficili – alcuni che sembravano insuperabili come Covid, alluvioni e inondazioni – ma alla fine siamo sempre riusciti nel nostro intento, che è quello di facilitare il lavoro degli Chef e soddisfare il fabbisogno dei componenti dei Team stessi.
Penso (e non credo di essere l’unico) che il 2024 sia stato l’anno più impegnativo di sempre, con 24 GP di F1 oltre ai test. Considerando che in un anno ci sono 52 settimane, vuol dire essere in viaggio una settimana sì e una no. Con 4 triplette di cui una, l’ultima del calendario, molto impegnativa: Las Vegas – Qatar – Abu Dhabi. Da Las Vegas al Qatar sono diciassette ore di volo e dodici di fuso orario…ci sono voluti parecchi giorni, se non settimane, per assorbirlo.
Da fuori, il nostro può sembrare più una vacanza che un lavoro – posso assicurarvi che non è così. Innumerevoli ore di volo, fusi orari, stress, corse contro il tempo, logorano moltissimo sia fisicamente che psicologicamente. Alla fine però il gioco vale la candela, e siamo molto soddisfatti dei risultati ottenuti, di avere la fortuna di avere il privilegio di poter partecipare in questo mondo, di vedere posti e culture sempre nuove ed interessanti e di incontrare e conoscere persone altrettanto interessanti e piacevoli.
Il 2024 inoltre ci ha portato a fornire un nuovo campionato, quello di E1, ovvero un campionato di barche da corsa completamente elettriche. I team sono di proprietà di persone molto conosciute come l’attore Will Smith, l’icona del NFL Tom Brady, la leggenda del tennis Rafael Nadal, il pilota di F1 Sergio Perez, il musicista Marc Anthony, l’ex calciatore Didier Drogba e molti altri. Nel 2025 inizierà a Jeddah per poi andare a Doha, ma non voglio svelarvi tutte le tappe, anche perché molte sono ancora da confermare.
Queste sono le cose che ci danno la carica per affrontare qualunque disagio e difficoltà: le novità, gli imprevisti e le soddisfazioni di essere riusciti nell’intento.
Un’altra novità per il 2025 sarà il nostro partner: la DAC, una brillante realtà di base a Brescia, che ci sosterrà con le forniture in tutta l’Europa con qualità dei prodotti elevate e prezzi definitivamente più competitivi.
Concludo ringraziando tutti i team che ormai da anni ci danno fiducia, tutti i nostri collaboratori e fornitori per gli eventi fuori dall’Europa che ci supportano da sempre, la F1, la FIA e la CAM che grazie alla loro collaborazione e comprensione ci permettono di fare il nostro lavoro al meglio.

Another year has passed, my thirteenth in Motorsport including: 276 Grand Prix of F1/F2/F3, several Moto GP/2/3, Formula E, DTM, WEC and Rally events.
My role and function is to organise deliveries of food and beverage supplies to several of the Teams participating in these sports. In Moto 3 wealsomanage the hospitality of Leopard (World Champions in Moto 3 in 2023) together with Carmine Carbone…. I shouldsayTHE IRREPLACEABLE Carmine Carbone, always by my side in the World of Moto Sport.
Many people may think that our work is more of a vacation than a job, but rest assured it is not. The countless hours of travelling, time zone difference, constant stress and racing against time, which wears you down both physically and psychologically.
For me, 2024 was the busiest year ever with 24 Grand Prix races plus tests. Considering that in a year there are 52 weeks it means being away every other week. With 4 triplets, one of which, the last one of the calendar, was the most demanding: Las Vegas – Qatar – Abu Dhabi. Only the flight Las Vegas to Qatar takes 17 hours and there are 12 hours of time difference, and it took me several days if not weeks to absorb it.
We have gone through difficult times over the years, such as Covid, floodings and other inconveniences, but in the end we have always succeeded to facilitate the work of the Chefs and satisfy the needs of the Teams. We are very satisfied with the results obtained, we are fortunate to participate in this fantastic world, we get to see places and experience diverse cultures, and we get to know interesting and fantastic people.
Further, in 2024 we got engaged with a new championship, that of E1, a championship of fully electric racing boats. The Teams are owned by well-known people such as actor Will Smith, NFL icon Tom Brady, tennis legend Rafael Nadal, F1 driver Sergio Perez, musician Marc Anthony, former footballer Didier Drogba and many others. The 2025 championship will start in Jeddah and then proceed to Doha. More locations and dates are to be confirmed.
These new partnerships give us energy and satisfaction: conquering new challenges and the unexpected.
Starting 2025 wealsohave a new partner in DAC, a leadingprofessional food distribution company based in Brescia, Italy. DAC will support us with supplies throughout Europe, allowingus to offer high product quality and more competitive prices.
I conclude by thanking all the Teams that have put their trust in us for years, all our collaborators and suppliers who have always supported us. We appreciate F1, FIA and CAM for their collaboration and understanding, allowing us to do our job at our best.
