THE REXAL FFF RACING TEAM IS READY TO IGNITE THE LAMBORGHINI SUPER TROFEO EUROPE 2022 SEASON

Comunicato REXAL FFF RACING TEAM

For this new season of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe the Rexal FFF Racing Team is deploying all its forces to face this new challenge in the best possible way. For this reason, the team will line-up two Lamborghini Huracan ST Evo2: one for the LB Cup crew and one for the two Pro-Am drivers. For the LB Cup, the team is very happy to confirm the winning couple formed by Luciano and Donovan Privitelio also for this 2022 season: the two drivers boast a long-standing collaboration with the team, in which they grew up and formed themselves. The whole team hopes this partnership will once again confirm the harmony and cohesion that the crew have reached over the years. The members of a team are like the cogs in a clock: for everything to work, they must work together at their best. For the Pro-Am category, the Rexal FFF Racing Team has decided to bet on a new, but still experienced, line-up: Oscar Lee and Dan Wells will join the Team and put their great skills at the service of the team for all 7 stages of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe 2022.

The Season will start on March 29 with the official test at Imola, where Teams will dispute also the first race of the calendar from the 1st to the 3rd of April. The campaign will continue at Paul Ricard (3 -5 June), Misano (1-3 July), Spa (28-30 July) and Barcelona (30 September – 2 October) until the week from the 31st October to the 6th of November at Portimao, where the Lamborghini Super Trofeo World Final will take place.

The whole team is motivated and ready to give everything to face this new season of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe in the best possible way.

Giorgio Ferro – Team Manager
We are starting a new season in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe with two brand new Huracan ST Evo2 and with a reinforced and very close-knit team, always under the aegis of the main sponsor Rexal. After a wonderful 2021 season experienced together in continuous growth, we are happy to confirm the line-up formed by Luciano and Donovan Privitelio, who will certainly know how to treasure their skills acquired thanks to the collaboration with our coach Tonio Liuzzi. Our two gentlemen drivers will be joined this year, in the Pro-Am category, by a tested couple that already knows the Lamborghini Super Trofeo. We welcome Oscar and Dan, who represent a great added value of quality and experience for our whole team. Together we will face a sporting season that will certainly be challenging – given the usual high level of teams and drivers – but also enjoyable thanks to Lamborghini’s wise direction.

Luciano Privitelio
I am very happy to have confirmed the renewal with the team. First of all because this gives us the opportunity to continue the growth process we started with our collaboration, and also because it’s good to know that we don’t have to start from scratch in a new team. Also the car gives us hope: the sensations have been very good in all the tests we did and this only increases my expectations for this new season.

Donovan Privitelio
Racing for Rexal FFF Racing Group together with my father will be great! I’m very happy to continue this collaboration because in the past seasons we managed to create a great atmosphere of cooperation and growth… working in such a positive environment is good for both morale and performance. The car responded very well in the first tests and I’m confident for the start of the season. What else can I say, full steam ahead!

Oscar Lee
I am so happy to announce that I will be driving with FFF Racing for this year’s Lamborghini Super Trofeo European season. I am delighted to have an opportunity to work with one of the best teams in the industry – with their expansive wealth of knowledge in motorsport and prestige amongst the GT community, it gives me great confidence into the upcoming season. I can’t wait until the first round at Imola!

Dan Wells
I am really pleased to have signed with FFF Racing for this year’s Championship. I hope that we can build on what Oscar and I learned last year, where we built good momentum to win the last race of the season – Race 2 of the World Final. I am sure that the competition in Pro-Am this year will be just as fierce but I am relishing the opportunity. A big thanks to our partners and the team for their efforts to get this program up and running – I look forward to getting started on track.
